We act as the data controller. We are committed to handling your data — including intimate conversation content — with strong security and respect for your privacy.

1. Data we collect

• Account & contact data: email address and authentication details.
• Age-confirmation signals: records that you confirmed you are 18+ and any age-verification status.
• Companion & quiz data: the preferences and choices you provide to create and personalise your companion.
• Conversation & media content: chat messages, generated images, and voice you exchange with your companion. This is sensitive data and is treated accordingly.
• Billing data: handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers; we receive only limited transaction and subscription status data.
• Technical & usage data: device, log, and analytics data used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

2. How we use it

• To provide, personalise, and maintain the Service and your companion.
• To process payments, manage subscriptions and credits, and prevent fraud.
• To enforce safety: age assurance, content moderation, and abuse prevention.
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

3. Legal bases (UK GDPR)

We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), to meet legal obligations (e.g. age assurance, illegal-content reporting), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and on the basis of your consent where required.

4. Security & retention

Conversation content and other sensitive data are encrypted in transit and at rest, with access restricted on a need-to-know basis. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legal requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may request deletion of your account and associated content (see below).

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service — for example our payment processor, cloud hosting, AI model and storage providers, and analytics — each under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to prevent serious harm (including reporting illegal content such as child sexual abuse material).

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

We use essential cookies/local storage to run the Service (for example to remember age confirmation and your session) and limited analytics to understand and improve usage.
